April 01, 2018, NCPA, Mumbai: Film Heritage Foundation presents Reframing the Future of Film – a conversation between renowned visual artist Tacita Dean, celebrated filmmaker Christopher Nolan of Dunkirk, Interstellar and Inception fame, and award-winning filmmaker and archivist, Shivendra Singh Dungarpur.

These passionate advocates for celluloid film will speak for the necessity of preserving photochemical film in the digital age, as film is a medium that offers unique qualities needed by both artists and filmmakers. The conversation, followed by a QnA with the audience, will explore the differences of shooting on film, and why it is essential to keep it available for future generations.
