ZEISS Horizon Anamorphic lenses mark the next chapter in ZEISS cine lens technology. These full frame 2x anamorphics deliver a refined cinematic look with pronounced oval bokeh and a stretched sense of space, adding depth and immersion to the narrative.

With their lightweight, fully motorized design, the seven lenses from 35 to 200 mm integrate seamlessly into existing LCS ecosystems, speed up camera set-up times and improve on balance and efficiency while offering unprecedented accuracy.

Immersive visuals – the essence of true 2x anamorphic
The 2x anamorphic squeeze is the classic cinema format: it delivers pronounced oval bokeh and a stretched sense of space that you don’t always get from 1.3x and 1.5x anamorphic or spherical lenses.
By compressing the image horizontally and then expanding it in post, 2x anamorphics create heightened depth, scale, and presence – faces, sets, and landscapes feel more “cinematic” and less like television.

Seamless LCS integration
Horizon Anamorphics are fully compatible with industry standard lens control systems from ARRI and Preston. Focus pullers can work exactly as they’re used to with their existing hand units and workflows – no new techniques, no relearning – gaining a cleaner build and higher efficiency without changing their craft.

“Single source of truth” lens calibration
All calibrated focus and iris scales are stored directly in the lens, creating a single, authoritative source of data. This “single source of truth” minimizes setup errors and delivers consistent, extremely accurate lens information regardless of the camera body, giving crews a reliable foundation for control, monitoring, and metadata.

Simplified rigging and faster lens changes
The integrated motors and clean housing simplify the rigging process and eliminate the need to move or re-calibrate external motors. This speeds up lens changes, saves valuable shoot time, helping keep tight schedules on track, achieving all planned shots as per the daily shot list.
